FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
House of Mercy Charity
BOULDER, Colo. (Feb. 21, 2018) – Massk® International is pleased to announce that it has become a corporate donor to the House of Mercy.
The House of Mercy is a foundation which assists the homeless disabled and homeless elderly citizens of Kiev, Ukraine. According to their website, there are currently around 15,000 homeless people in the capital city, and many of them are over the age of 60. This segment of the population is generally left outside traditional means for assistance, including substance abuse rehabilitation, permanent accommodations, and restoring lost documentation. That’s where the House of Mercy comes in.
Massk® International Founder Olena Sepyahina says, “As a native Ukrainian, my heart breaks for these people whose lives have been all but forgotten by the government, and even their families, in some cases.”
The House of Mercy is planning to build a house with 15 beds for 10 permanent residents and five transients. Services offered will include the re-issue of identification and other vital documents, psychological support, a safe and comfortable living environment, and activities and resources for medical intervention and other assistance.
Says Ms. Sepyahina, “The House of Mercy has achievable goals to help its citizens, and I’m dedicating Massk’s charitable resources – in fact, 10% of its after-tax profits – to become a part of that solution.”
